Catalan Authorities Examine Alleged “Dumping Ground” of Abusive Priests in Bolivia

Spanish authorities — the Catalan ombudsman and the Parliament of Catalonia — are investigating allegations that Jesuit priests accused of sexual abuse were transferred from Spain to Bolivia.
The inquiry began in 2023 with cases in Barcelona and expanded in 2026 after complaints from Bolivia. It will examine when, how, and why these transfers occurred, and whether the Jesuit order bears institutional responsibility. Catalonia is the “mother province” controlling the Bolivian mission.
Victims’ groups allege that Bolivia was used as a “dumping ground” for pedophile or homosexual priests.
In 2024, Catalan Jesuits acknowledged 145 allegations of sexual abuse since 1948.
Internal correspondence indicates Jesuit superiors were aware that some priests continued abusing after being transferred.
Legal proceedings in Bolivia have led to convictions for "coverin up" abuse: in 2025, two former Jesuit provincials were found guilty.
Examples of abusive Jesuits in Bolivia are:

MEANWHILE IN GERMANY:
Former FDP MP and Israel lobbyist Hartmut Ebbing was caught with child sexual abuse videos. He asked the court for a secret trial to protect the German-Israeli Society (DIG), where he was treasurer. The court agreed. He got a suspended sentence. Later convicted of abusing a 7-year-old. Only then did he resign, after nearly a year managing DIG funds, including German taxpayer money. Both FDP and DIG claimed they “knew nothing.”

A 'Table Mass' was celebrated at 8:00 pm on Maundy Thursday at St Barbara's Church in Schophoven, Germany. The service, held around a large banquet table, included elements of the Jewish Passover meal. The only people who participated were the elderly. The parish is part of the Diocese of Aachen, which is led by Bishop Helmut Dieser.

Girls are hitting puberty earlier than ever before — and the numbers are shocking. In the late 1800s, the average age was around 16–17. By the early 1900s it had dropped to 12.5–13. Today it’s down to about 11, with some Black and Hispanic girls showing signs as early as 8, 9, or even 6–7 years old — the earliest recorded in history. Patrick Bet-David asked FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary why this is happening. Makary pointed to the modern environment: constant exposure to substances and chemicals with estrogen-like binding properties (found even in river water) that partially activate estrogen receptors. He called it a “huge issue” and an existential threat to human development, noting the age has been dropping by about a week and a half every year for the last 30 years. He also mentioned that in Europe, where some of these exposures may be lower, puberty still starts later (14–15 in some cases), and that American medicine has largely treated this as a minor footnote rather than …Mer

Sulaiman Ahmed @ShaykhSulaiman BREAKING: Iran's FM Araghchi on the Strait of Hormuz: It is not in international waters. It is the internal waters of Iran and Oman. The strait is currently open and is closed only to those who are at war with Iran. For many of them, especially those from friendly countries, we have put arrangements in place so they can pass through the strait safely. Some countries have passed through the strait after reaching an agreement with Iran. The Strait of Hormuz can be a waterway of peace, enabling the calm passage of ships from all countries. x.com/ShaykhSulaiman/status/2039345578287550503

“I was the very first person in Canada to obtain the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine contract between Pfizer and the Canadian government, after a years-long battle through a freedom of information request. After reading the contract, what really stood out to me was this clause, which specifically said: “Purchaser further acknowledges that the long-term effects and efficacy of the vaccine are not currently known and that there may be adverse effects of the vaccine that are not currently known. Further, to the extent applicable, Purchaser acknowledges that the Product shall not be serialized.”
So, of course, after reading that, it was clear the Canadian government was signing Canadians up to put an experimental, unproven vaccine into their bodies, while telling everyone it was safe and effective, even though they literally had no idea. About a year later, I submitted another freedom of information request to the Canadian government asking for: “Any and all …Mer

Leo XIV Sends Message to Besieged Christian Village in Lebanon

Pope Leo XIV has issued an Easter message to residents of Debel, a predominantly Christian village in southern Lebanon, currently besieged by ongoing Israeli bombardments and military restrictions. The message was delivered through Cardinal Pietro Parolin.
Leo XIV expressed “paternal closeness and tenderness” to the people of Debel and extended compassion to all civilians suffering amid the conflict in South Lebanon.
The message encouraged residents to find spiritual strength in the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus, despite the “sorrow, anguish, and mourning” brought on by the violence and isolation facing the village.
The Pope also urged the community not to lose hope, assuring them that their prayers and suffering are not forgotten.
Invoking the protection of Our Lady of Lebanon, he concluded by offering his Apostolic Blessing to the people of Debel and their families.

Why Catholics should take the dating crisis seriously

For those who married young, or never experienced the particular isolation of prolonged singleness, it can be tempting to treat the struggles of modern dating as trivial. Complaints about ghosting, dating apps or awkward first dates are often treated as amusing anxieties of a generation that should simply put down their phones and get on with it. But this misreads the situation entirely.
Statistics and surveys tell one part of the story, but so does lived experience: my own, and that of friends and countless others I have spoken with. Large majorities of men and women say they want meaningful relationships and hope to marry; yet many are barely dating at all. When interest is high but participation is low, it is clear something has gone wrong in the space between desire and action.
Many people long for emotional connection and serious relationships rather than the casual encounters often associated with ‘hook-up culture’. What they lack is not motivation but capacity, overwhelmed by …

Iran’s Biolabs Face Imminent Containment Failure

Iran’s Biolabs Face Imminent Containment Failure
Destroying every power plant and bridge in Iran could simultaneously collapse containment at multiple dual-use biolabs by cutting electricity, refrigeration, ventilation, and staff access.
Until now, I have refrained from commenting on the Iran War. However, imminent developments have created the real risk of a major public-health catastrophe, compelling me to share this information.
President Trump has given Iran until
Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET (today) to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face the destruction of every power plant and bridge in the country. At a White House press conference, he said: “Every bridge in Iran will be decimated by 12 o’clock tomorrow night, where every power plant in Iran will be out of business, burning, exploding and never to be used again.”
Iran’s known and suspected biological weapons facilities depend on the same power grids and transport links that the White House has promised to destroy. If “Power Plant Day …
