Completed in May 2026, the restoration of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in O’Neill, Nebraska, revived its historic artistic character. Like many churches, its interior was disfigured in the mid-20th century, including the loss of its original apsidal fresco and installation of a monumental crucifix with a faux stained-glass-style backdrop. The Second Pastoral Synod of the Archdiocese of Kraków degenerates into a 'rainbow event'.
