Conservative Bishop Robert Barron of Winona-Rochester, Minnesota, published a “counter-view” to the teaching that Judas has earned his place in hell on FoxNews.com on Palm Sunday. Monsignor Barron's main arguments for having hope for Judas' salvation - Judas shows repentance: "Judas, the betrayer, deeply regretted what he had done: 'I have sinned in betraying innocent blood.'" "This is not callous indifference or self-justification. This is a clear and honest admission of guilt." - The Church has never declared that Judas is in hell: "St. Pope John Paul II insisted that the Church has never made a definitive statement regarding whether any particular person is in hell." "Pope Benedict said that we should suspend judgement regarding Judas and commit him to the mercy and justice of God." - Suicide does not guarantee damnation: "We should not despair of the eternal salvation of persons who have taken their own lives.' 'By ways known to him alone, God can provide the opportunity for salutary …Hafa
Girls are hitting puberty earlier than ever before — and the numbers are shocking. In the late 1800s, the average age was around 16–17. By the early 1900s it had dropped to 12.5–13. Today it’s down to about 11, with some Black and Hispanic girls showing signs as early as 8, 9, or even 6–7 years old — the earliest recorded in history. Patrick Bet-David asked FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary why this is happening. Makary pointed to the modern environment: constant exposure to substances and chemicals with estrogen-like binding properties (found even in river water) that partially activate estrogen receptors. He called it a “huge issue” and an existential threat to human development, noting the age has been dropping by about a week and a half every year for the last 30 years. He also mentioned that in Europe, where some of these exposures may be lower, puberty still starts later (14–15 in some cases), and that American medicine has largely treated this as a minor footnote rather than …Hafa
To be clear, in the case of heresy it is God who judges it because the Catholic Faith is revealed by God. The Pope is in effect judged by God as a heretic when he rejects the faith. Any man can identify the Pope as a heretic freely without any problem in that case. The man is not judging the Pope, the Pope has already been judged by God. The man is simply expressing an existing judgement.
What's odd about this, is that I just commented twice, what goes around, comes around. Both good and bad. I saw it all my life. Then I see this. After giving tens of thousands of tons of aid to several countries. Including sending teachers and professors to Burkino Faso, Russia found another oil filed in February. And now this. For his love and kindness Russia once again is rewarded. With tens of thousands of sanctions and more constantly being added, she should have been destroyed by now. But it's plain to see, Heaven will never allow that. Who can't see this?
"In this situation nobody, but us and our allies care about international law” — Russia's FM Lavrov yesterday. “We are not going to run after Western elites asking for anything”
During the January consistory, Leo XIV told Cardinal Jean-Marc Aveline of Marseille, France, of his wish to explore avenues for resolving the tensions surrounding the Roman rite, La-croix.com reports, citing anonymous sources. One bishop, who also wished to remain anonymous, said that Leo XIV is allegedly "extremely interested in the question and asked us to think something through". Another bishop, who has spoken with Leo XIV about the Roman rite, said that "for the Pope, what is done in France serves as a model" for other countries. "It is the first time I have heard so clearly that the subject must be addressed at a theological level and not just in a pastoral and emotional way," he added. Another anonymous bishop, from the southeast, said: "Behind the attraction to beauty and the sacred, there is a whole theological debate that some do not perceive: a distant God versus a God who draws near - encompassing a whole relationship with the world, freedom of conscience and interreligious …Hafa
Good, Leo. Check out what Benedict XVI did in the way of trying to solve tensions. But unless you change the other aberrations of Francis, not many will trust your intentions towards the Traditional Mass.
"...only because..." It is not "only because". There are many, many reasons for this. The reason listed is perhaps one of the chief ones, but it is not the core of the issue. We are given the bishops we deserve.
Mikhail is describing blind obedience. I suppose if you have not the gift of faith you might mistake it as blind obedience. It is not blind at all. Faith allows you to recognise truth.
Mary Live with Dr. Mark Miravalle: "The Poison of Selfishness and Hatred Rules Human Hearts" On March 25, 2026, the Queen of Peace at Medjugorje conveys a serious message regarding the present warring taking place globally. What is the Catholic Just War Theory, and how does the US military action in Iran size up morally? Join Dr. Mark Miravalle for key moral analysis and commentary.
One of the main reason for the emergence of Islam is the west's allowing the Holocaust crowd perpetually denying of God's mercy from generation to generation even to the point of neutering the dignity of nations. A grave sin. Some people and nations see teachings of mercy and dignity in Islam, so the common sense finds a home in Islam (in my opinion temporarily).
The prot's are totally lost and love it that way. Every single person as well as every single fake religion they have all believe in a different Christ. And most hate The Blessed Mother. With some who say, she is a good woman.
@MarioNawfal 4 military drones were stolen from Fort Campbell, Kentucky in late November. The Army is offering $5,000 for information. The FBI warned of a potential Iranian drone attack on the West Coast just yesterday and the internet is doing what the internet does: The theory revolves around the stolen U.S. military drones that could be used to hit American targets and make it look like Iran did it. "Fun Church" in Holy Week: Fr. Simon Teller, O.P., published a video on March 29 about the different ways people use palms on Palm Sunday. The examples include the deconstructionist, the artist, the hoarder, the tickler, the sword fighter, and the panda mode. Fr. Teller is a chaplain at Providence College in the United States.
huvam @Shuvam Bill Gates declared his intentions quite some time back. He is working in collusion with Modi who frequently talks about the NWO in his address to the parliament.
The Church is “nothing without God” and exists to save souls and nourish them through the sacraments, Cardinal Robert Sarah, 80, told CNews on March 27. When speaking about the Church’s problems, Sarah avoids naming individuals. Throughout the interview, he uses only broad categories - "we," "people," - and shifts the blame onto modern culture and ideas such as relativism, rupture, and innovation. His consistent rhetorical strategy is to use passive and "we". The Church: Not an NGO His basic argument is that the Church cannot be reduced to a humanitarian, political, or sociological institution: "God must truly be placed at the center of our existence, at the center of our life, at the center of our concerns." And: "If we detach the Church from this mission… the Church is useless." Liturgy as Battlefield Cardinal Sarah mentions Leo XIV only briefly and in an almost deferential way when describing the liturgical crisis. "I understand that the Pope is concerned about this liturgical unity …Hafa
