Multiple governments - including the USA, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Lebanon, and Poland, - condemned Israeli police for blocking a private prayer by Cardinal Pizzaballa at the church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem today. In response, Israeli officials say they are working on a plan to allow church leaders to worship at the holy site in the coming days. Cardinal Pizzaballa told TV2000 that there were no clashes: "Everything was done in a very polite manner. I do not want to force the issue. We want to use this situation to try to clarify better in the coming days what to do, in respect for everyone's safety but also in respect for the right to prayer."

Cardinal Pizzaballa: “It is true that the police had said that the orders from the internal command prevented any kind of gathering in places where there is no shelter, but we had not asked for anything public, just a brief and small private ceremony to preserve the idea of the celebration in the Holy Sepulchre. There were no clashes; everything was done in a very polite manner. I do not want to force the issue; we want to use this situation to try to clarify better in the coming days what to do, in respect for everyone's safety but also in respect for the right to prayer."

What a sad day for Christians around the world

"Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin patriarch of Jerusalem, and Father Francesco Ielpo, the custos of the Holy Land, and two other priests were on their way to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem’s Old City when they were halted by Israeli police due to safety concerns over the ongoing war with Iran." They were prohibited from entering the church. All they wanted to do was to celebrate the Mass for Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord. What a sad day for Christians around the world.Italy's Premier Giogia Meloni put it best, “The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem is a sacred site of Christianity, and as such must be preserved and protected for the celebration of sacred rites. Preventing the Patriarch of Jerusalem and the Custos of the Holy Land from entering, especially on a solemnity central to the faith such as Palm Sunday, constitutes an offence not only against believers but against every community that recognizes religious freedom.”

French Priest and Religious Order Convicted — Religious Leadership Treated as a Crime

On 24 March, a court in Privas, France, delivered its verdict in the case of Father Bernard Domini and the Catholic community Famille Missionnaire de Notre Dame (FMND).
The case raises wider questions about religious freedom and new legal standards in France.
Following a two-year investigation, the case centred on allegations of "abuse of vulnerability" and 2psychological subjection" brought by five former members of the community. The community has approximately 160 members.
The charges did not involve allegations of sexual abuse, physical violence or financial misconduct, but instead focused on the community's internal practices and discipline. In its ruling, the court issued ten decisions, resulting in seven acquittals and three convictions.
Father Bernard was convicted on one count and acquitted on four others, while the FMND was convicted on two counts. The punishments handed down were relatively lenient: a six-month suspended sentence for Father Bernard and a €25,000 fine for the …Mwy

NOTE: The footnotes are not dictated by God. They are added by Sister. Sometimes the footnote is to help clarify for the reader Sister’s sense of the meaning of a certain word or idea, and at other times to better convey the sense of God’s tone when He spoke.
Further Note from Sister: In these Messages, the use of all caps is a way to denote the importance that is being given to particular words or passages. It does not indicate anger or shouting, but rather “listen children, this is important.” I was surprised at how much He used this “tone” in this writing.

Bishop Seitz Encouraging ICE Officers To Question Their Orders

Bishop Mark Seitz of El Paso, Texas, said law enforcement agents must “evaluate everything in the light of Christ” while discerning actions in regard to immigration enforcement.
Seitz issued the first
pastoral letter on mass detention and deportations on March 14. The letter followed the special message the U.S. bishops released in November 2025 expressing opposition to “indiscriminate mass deportations.”
In his pastoral letter Seitz wrote: The “current national campaign of mass detention and detention is a grave moral evil, one which must be opposed, with prayer, peaceful action, and acts of solidarity with those affected.”
In the Catholic Church, “a grave moral evil” could indicate mortal sin. When asked if agents may need to disobey orders, or even leave their jobs, to avoid mortal sin, Seitz said: “I think the first thing that is most important is that you can’t put your conscience on hold if you’re a disciple of Jesus Christ.
“You have to evaluate everything in the …

Pope Leo lands in Monaco; Historic papal visit begins | Apostolic Journey | Shalom World News
Commencing his historic apostolic journey to Monaco, Pope Leo XIV landed at world’s second smallest sovereign nation to a simple but solemn welcome ceremony with guard of honor. The papal helicopter landed in Monaco’s heliport at 9.00 am, where the Holy Father was ceremonially received by Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, which was followed by an official welcome at the Prince's Palace. This historic visit marks the first papal visit in nearly 500 years. The last visit, which is also the only previous one, was a visit by Pope Paul III in 1538. This apostolic trip is a one-day pastoral and institutional visit, consisting of meetings with Prince Albert II, a Mass at the Louis II Stadium, and visits to the cathedral. ----------------

Erstmals seit fast 500 Jahren reist ein Papst …

The British journalist Melanie Phillips (who has written for The Guardian and The Times, among others) explains clearly how Western societies came to accept lies as truth. Following the experience of totalitarian structures in the 20th century, society rejected any external authority on principle. As a result, the hierarchy among opinions, values, worldviews and cultures also disappeared. Nothing could be better or worse than anything else. No lifestyle, no family background, no national culture, no religion. Anyone who failed to understand this was a racist. As a result, a liberal society could no longer claim to be better than an unfree society. The only thing that mattered was what the individual person felt. Their feelings were more important than any facts, because they used them to create their own reality. With that, the idea of an objective truth was done away with.

NON SERVIAM
The Rebel’s Gospel and the Damnation It Purchases
St. Paul did not mince words. He rarely did.
“Let every soul be subject to higher powers: for there is no power but from God: and those that are, are ordained of God. Therefore he that resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God. And they that resist, purchase to themselves damnation.” (Romans 13:1–2, Douay-Rheims)
Purchase. To themselves. Damnation. Not inconvenience. Not imprudence. Not a regrettable tactical error. Damnation. The Apostle uses κρίμα — condemnation, judgment — the same word used for the verdict rendered at the last hour. And he says the rebel brings it on himself. It is self-purchased. Self-willed. The logical terminus of a soul that has decided it knows better than God’s providential ordering of the world.
Keep that word in mind. We’re going to need it.

During his Apostolic Journey to the Principality of Monaco, Europe’s last Catholic state, Pope Leo XIV urged some 15,000 faithful at Mass to “not grow accustomed to the clamor of weapons.” He warned that “every life cut short wounds the body of Christ,” and called on the Church to bear witness to a peace rooted not in power, but in fraternity.

Leo XIV visited Monaco today. The trip included meetings with Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, as well as encounters with clergy and youth, and a Eucharist attended by around 15,000 people. At the end of the Eucharist, Leo XIV greeted 100-year-old priest César Penzo, who has served as chaplain to the princes of Monaco for 45 years.

Dopo 45 anni trascorsi come cappellano dei principi di Monaco, padre César Penzo assistette alla storica visita di papa Leone XIV, partecipò alla messa e ebbe l’occasione di salutare il Santo Padre al termine della funzione.
