Mission Trip to Trona, CA In 2009, Trona experienced an earthquake that damaged the foundation of St. Madeleine Catholic Church. Now, just over 15 years later, the town is slowly depopulating, losing it's businesses and everyday services we take for granted daily. The people of St.Madeleines is about 8-12 Parishioners who even through the trials of having not an active city or church, still find a way to come together, worship, and show the world that even if the world forgets about them, they still practice their faith and obedience to God. Our Seminarians took a Saturday to drive 3 hours to trona and be with this community. To go to the ends of the earth to evangelize and be the presence of our Diocese to these people. Islamists attacked the parish of St. Louis de Montfort in Meza, Cabo Delgado, northern Mozambique, on April 30. According to Aid to the Church in Need (ACN), militants entered the parish in the afternoon and destroyed the church, parish offices, missionaries’ residence, and kindergarten. Buildings were set on fire and the historic church was reduced to rubble. The parish was founded in 1946 and was one of the main Catholic landmarks in the region. Bishop António Juliasse of Pemba said civilians were captured and forced to listen to speeches during the attack. The Cameroonian missionaries serving the parish were not present when the attackers arrived and were unharmed. There were no confirmed deaths during the April 30 attack. The insurgency in Cabo Delgado has continued since 2017 and has caused thousands of deaths and displaced more than one million people. Church officials say at least 118 churches and chapels have been destroyed during the conflict. Picture: ACN, #newsQveepjzxvl

Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira Let us pass from the general principles set forth in our theological considerations* to a great historical example, the question of separation of Church and State. Prior to the French Revolution, a united regime of Church and State existed in all the Catholic nations of Europe. In the Protestant states, the most powerful sects were united to the Crown. As a result of the secular principles of the Revolution, separation of Church and State was gradually introduced throughout the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Today, the State is secularist in most of the West. Where it is not, the privileges of the official church are virtually meaningless. This immense transformation, the natural and typical fruit of a tendency towards laicization that has made itself progressively felt in the various sectors of Western culture, in society, and in life itself, was inherently prejudicial to the Holy Catholic Church. As faith is the root of all virtues and virtue is the …More
Hopefully, slowly but surely, we American Catholics will realize that separation of church and state is a terrible thing. Unfortunately, at an early age we were taught, in Catholic schools, that it is a blessing. It is actually a curse.
You won't regret living off-grid which is hard work, times of faith are tested with some headaches but it outweighs what's coming - tyranny, control via surveillance, hardships, and more for the unprepared.

You certainly do not get the leaders you deserve. Where have you been living if you don't know that most if not all elections in 'free, democratic' countries have been stolen by the globalists, who control the media, and manage the voting in ways too numerous to go into here. You get the leaders they force on you, and they are too often compromised and forced to do what they are told.
While a statement is circulating that the family was not denied communion because “they weren’t noticed,” an official statement from the pastor appears to indicate that they were deliberately ignored because they weren’t at a “Communion station.” From the pastor, Father Coleman, posted 1 May 2026: “Dear Our Lady of Grace community, I want to address false posts on social media suggesting the denial of Holy Communion to a family kneeling at our altar rail during a Confirmation Mass on Tuesday. The assertion that Bishop Martin refused them Communion is fabricated, as the bishop did not even participate in the distribution of Holy Communion. In fact, Bishop Martin was gracious enough to join us to celebrate and confirm 34 young people in their faith. I (as pastor) and three other priests handled the distribution of Communion to more than 300 people who attended, some of whom knelt at any one of our Communion stations. None were denied. One family walked past our Communion stations and …More
06.05.2026 Popes Leo, Francis and Benedict use the LG 16 - visible premise to interpret Vatican Council II liberally : President Trump could correct the general dishonesty of the U.S State Dept., the Vatican and Italian Govt. This dishonest interpretation of Vatican Council II is being used by the U.S State Department and the Government in Italy. The Catholic traditionalists have to accept Vatican Council II interpreted with the Irrational and not Rational Premise or be excommunicated. This is not the Gospel. This is not the truth but a falsehood. With the LG 16- error the books of Cardinal Ratzinger are no more conservative and authoritative but heretical and schismatic. It is the same with the writings of Pope Francis. For Pope Leo, Vatican Council II has exceptions for EENS. It indicates that LG 16 refers to a physically visible and not invisible case. This is dishonesty and it is irrational. Pope Leo and Cardinal Fernandez used the LG 16 error of Rahner and Ratzinger to interpret …More
'Regardless of the report, the Catholic Churchteachesthat homosexual activity is mortally sinful and that homosexual inclinations are “objectively disordered.” TheCatechism of the Catholic Churchstates: “Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that ‘homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.’”
Tue May 5, 2026 - 12:08 pm EDTTue May 5, 2026 - 5:40 pm EDT (LifeSiteNews) — A report from the Vatican’s General Secretariat of the Synod published Tuesday suggests a reframing of homosexuality, endorsing testimony without qualification that “sin, at its root, does not consist in the (same-sex) couple relationship” but in “a lack of faith in a God who desires our fulfilment.” The Vatican-commissioned Study Group 9 of the Synod on Synodality published its Final Report May 5, “Theological criteria and synodal methodologies for shared discernment of emerging doctrinal, pastoral, and ethical issues.” Under the heading, “Taking a synodal approach to discernment: A proposal for implementation in local Churches,” the 32-page document relies on the testimonies of the “lived experience” of two individuals with same-sex attraction to “aid the promotion of pastoral discernment.” Framing the two testimonies as “experiences of goodness” which constitute “successive stages of development in …
A letter in today's Irish Times claims that 'most Catholics' support women's ordination The letter writer claims that it should be 'the headline issue at the National Synodal Assembly of Ireland on October 17th, 2026'
So, what! The laity have no voice at all in changing dogma and traditional practices of the Catholic Church. Wrong is wrong even though everyone is doing it, and right is right even if no one is doing it.
Tonight at Castel Gandolfo, Pope Leo XIV responded to the criticism he has received from Donald Trump: "From the first moment, I have spoken of peace. The mission of the Church is to preach the Gospel and to promote peace. If anyone wants to criticise me for doing so, they should do so truthfully. The Church has spoken out against nuclear weapons for years, so there is no doubt about that."
Leo's brief comments to the press this evening -- “I have already spoken from the first moment ‘peace be with you.’ The mission of the Church is to preach the Gospel, to preach peace. If anyone wants to criticize me for proclaiming the Gospel, let them do so truthfully. The Church has spoken out against all nuclear weapons for years, so there is no doubt about that”
