Cardinal Víctor “Tucho” Fernández will receive Fr. Davide Pagliarani, the Superior General of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X, at the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith next week. What was his authority or directive to "direct traffic"? My point is that this activity, "directing traffic", in and of itself was a clear sign of protestation. "Conservative" Bishop Stefan Oster of Passau is preparing his audience for a 'Synodal Conference' which will hold its inaugural meeting in November. On Bistum-Passau.de on 3 February, Monsignor Oster said that the new body still requires approval from the German Bishops’ Conference and the Vatican, but he believes that "this new body at the national level will come into being".
